Arts & Theatre World Premiere: “Glorious Morning: A Revolution Revealed” (Film)

World Premiere: “Glorious Morning: A Revolution Revealed” We are excited to announce that the world premiere of “Glorious Morning: A Revolution Revealed” — the latest documentary film by acclaimed filmmakers Michael Maglaras and Terri Templeton of 217 Films — will take place at the Johnson Hall Opera House on November 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Much of the action you will see in this new documentary film about the art of the American Rebellion and Revolution was actually filmed on our stage. This film’s producer, Ramsey Tripp, is a Gardiner resident and well-known film industry veteran. Featuring more than 190 works of art by the great painters of the Rebellion and Revolution — John Singleton Copley, Charles Willson Peale, John Trumbull, and Gilbert Stuart — Glorious Morning reveals the birth of our nation through the images of battle and triumph, and through the faces of those who created a new world order. 217 Films will host a reception during intermission, and after the screening the filmmakers will participate in a Q&A with audience members. This is a great opportunity not only to see the art of our very beginnings, but to view a film in the very location the filmmakers chose to tell their important story. This event is not to be missed. This film will be shown in two parts with a short intermission and there will be a Q & A after the film. All proceeds to benefit Johnson Hall Opera House. 217 FILMS website: www.two17films.com TICKETS- https://www.eventbrite.com/e/world-premiere-glorious-morning-a-revolution-revealed-film-tickets-2002576762003?aff=oddtdtcreator This Film will take place on Reehl Stage (3rd Floor) Doors open at 1:30 Free Street Parking Available!
