Music in the Museum: Due Edelen and Friends

Enjoy the galleries through the lens of sound. A series of live hour-long performances in the museum feature local and regional musicians, curated by the Colby College Music department. This Baroque program highlights the expressive range of the trio sonata, from Bach’s contrapuntal clarity to Couperin’s graceful dances and Telemann’s expressive lyricism. Together, these works reveal the rich variety of national styles and emotional character that defines Baroque chamber music.
