Mosaic Patterns: A Workshop with Linda Lopez

Paul J. Schupf Art Center and Green Block + Studios Join Linda Lopez, a professor at the University of Arkansas and professional artist, for a hands-on afternoon of mosaic-making. Participants will visit By Design: The World of Betsy James Wyeth to see Lopez’s works on view and receive a demonstration of mosaic techniques before creating their own panels using ceramic tiles, inspired by historical ceramic patterns. Experiment with color, pattern, and composition. All materials are provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Snacks and drinks are included.
