Mainer Jude Hsiang was born knitting and has been deep into natural dyeing for 5 decades, teaching the basics in hands-on workshops for 20 years. She specializes in dyeing natural fiber yarns for sale. Her dye garden may be past its peak in early October, but there will be samples of dyestuffs. Her ongoing project--Dyeing Maine Fibers with Maine Plants (plus fungi & lichens) --will be on display as well as dye records and dyed items from over the years. You are invited to dye something to take home. Jude is a life-long gardener, retired as a University Extension Master Gardener Botany Instructor.
