Monkitree is excited to welcome two amazing local artists to our shop on Maine Craft Weekend to share their process and art! On Saturday, October 3rd, from 10-noon, cold porcelain sculpture artist, Jenna Harris, will be here to demonstrate her process for hand-sculpting the beautiful flowers, leaves, and berries she turns into stunning, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. On that same afternoon, Linda Herschenfeld will be here to demonstrate the process behind her quirky, delightful mosaic art using broken, upcycled, and found objects collected into her whimsical and witty framed mosaics. Linda will also join us again on Sunday, October 4th from 10am-noon for more demonstrations and discussion. We hope you can join us to see some of the process, detail and skill that these two local Maine artists bring to their unique art!
