Join the Lunder Institute for American Art for a special gathering that brings together participants from the 2024 and 2026 Lunder Institute @ cohorts, connecting the initiative’s inaugural US-based participants with its expanding international cohort to explore the transatlantic histories and global contexts that have shaped American art. Lunder Institute @ invites museums and art institutions to critically examine American art—its histories, futures, and ongoing transformations—through sustained conversations across departments, disciplines, and communities. By sharing the outcomes of these internal dialogues through public programs, the series promotes transparency, collaboration, and new approaches to understanding the field. This convening creates a unique opportunity to connect the insights of the inaugural 2024 US cohort with the international perspectives represented by the 2026 cohort.
